Nagisa Kaworu
...Nagisa Kaworu, or Kaoru, is the twisted member of the Evangelion Pilot Team. Being the Fifth Children, the least you would expect is he being the 17th Angel, Tabris, as well! Many have named him to be.. 'gay', but I do not think that is true. My theory is, that since Kaworu is an Angel, partially being a product of god, his duty was to find a weak heart and mend it. The one with this weak heart being Shinji.. Kaworu's words of Love came from the idea of him being an angel, whereas he possibly felt that it was his duty to mend Shinji's empty heart.. but that led to betrayal, as Kaworu then used EVA Unit-02 against Shinji and EVA Unit-01 on his mission to find Adam. Unknown to him, Kaworu unexpectedly found Lilith instead and knew that if he were to re-unite with her, it would cause the Third Impact. Seeing this difficult decision, Kaworu faced Shinji one last time, as EVA Unit-01 grabbed a hold of Kaworu's frail body. Kaworu then asked Shinji to destroy him in order to save humanity. Before death, Kaworu looked towards Rei and simply smiled.. After much hesitation, Unit-01 squeezed Kaworu's body, and thus, Kaworu's head fell into the LCL (Link Control Liquid / Blood of the Crucified Lilith) and Kaworu was no more...But..The Clones of Kaworu did not cease to exist, and they therefore piloted Kaworu's Mass Production Models and fought against the Evangelion Teams. Attacking in large groups, Kaworu's EVAs brought down Unit 02, and Shinji came to face Kaworu once again.
